First Contesting with 6300

I put in some time in the NAQP SSB yesterday. Even though I've had my 6300 for around a year now, this was the first time I got the chance to put it through it's paces. I'm kept busy administering the PQP and coaching some of our Digital emcomm people, as well as setting the club up for legacy radio contesting.
Whoa - I knew I was spoiled for normal and digital operations with the 6300, but the combo of N1MM and the Flex was Nirvana. I could do search and pounce at a very good rate, since I could see the whole band at one time.
Only problem was that I found I have an RF problem on 40 meters. Any thing 60 watts or above on 40 and it will lock up and transmit until the software tells me it can't communicate with the radio. closing the software stops the transmit, but I can't reconnect until I reboot the radio.
Time to get out the ferrites and chase this one down.
