Maestro 1.8.3 no longer avaialble on boot menu?

FYI,  it looks like I'm being forced to upgrade my Maestro to v1.8.4 as of today.   My Maestro no longer shows v1.8.3 available for use although it was what was loaded on it?  I have the option to select / update to v1.8.4 or downgrade to two versions of v1.7?   Since I just got my Maestro back from repair with v1.8.3 on it I would like to remain at v1.8.3 for awhile.  I'm a little gun shy after the 1.8.3 issue.  Please advise... Thanks....

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
