Still around and kicking!

Hi all,

I kinda dropped of the net for a bit but I'm still around and kicking.   I started a new job in early June and it takes a good concentrated 7am - 6pm to get through it each day so I've not had the time to scan the forums as I used to.

It's all good because I need the challenges at that stage of my life.   Because of my job change I canceled my Maestro order and actually have had little time to really operate at all.

I still work when I can on my Flex 6000 series client app but I've not made much progress for a while.  I was planning anyway to wait and see what changes Maestro brought to the API. I do still hope to release this client which will run on PC and Mac but no promise dates at this point.

Anyway, just yelling out a hi to everyone.  Sounds generally like Maestro is going well but a few little hiccups.

Hi Mark, and welcome back!  Yep, lots of chatter on here regarding the Maestro.  Were you working on an Android client app?   I know I would use it.  I'm currently using RCFORB on my Android,  It works really well, I can control the rig, amp, and tuner all from the phone.  The only thing it doesn't have is the Panadapter/Waterfall.

Glad to see you're still around Mark. I've intended to email you to see how your project was
coming along. I haven't written hardly any code in the last few months myself. We had major
spring storms here with a lot of hail and I had to take down my HF antenna to get it out of the
way of the roofers when they finally showed up. (three weeks ago) Just got it back up again
today. But, I changed something and it's not working quite right now. Too tired from mowing
and work to worry with it anymore this weekend. Maybe next weekend I'll get time to get it
    working correctly.
Hope your new job works out well for you.
