SWR Folding back in spite of running the internal tuner into my amp. Is there a way to defeat this new addition to this firmware?

May be helpful to include the amp you are running, band at issue and the interconnect details.

Yes, generally you do NOT want the internal tuner on if you are driving an amp. The amp should have low enough SWR on its input.

Older Dentron MLA2500 with no tuned input.
Never had a problem until this revision.

A defeat option is necessary in some instances. I've seen tube amplifier input VSWR swing at times during ssb transmissions, and it can cause drive issues with some VSWR foldback systems.

The ANAN radios have had issues in this regard, but fortunately OpenHPSDR has a disable option.

Please add a defeat option if SSDR does not already have it.
