Maestro with Flex 6700 and Two amplifiers

Is there are way to configure an SO2R profile with a single Flex 6700 driving two different amplifiers when using Flex 6700 Antenna Port 1 connected to an Alpha 9500 and the same Flex 6700 Antenna Port 2 connected to a legacy amplifier. When the profiles are saved either Transmit profile or Global Profile, it does not appear that you can have a separate profile for TX Ant 2 RX Antenna 2 and PTT #2 enabled to allow the legacy amplifier to be able to work 75 meters and have the TX Antenna 1, RX Antenna 1, and PTT #1 enabled.

When the N1MM TX focus enables (selects) TX B and switches / deselects TX A on the Maestro, the keying lines do not stay configured for TX 2 RX 2 PTT 2 (on 80 meters) on B as well as keeping TX 1 RX 1 PTT 1 for 80 meters when switching between SCU #2 to SCU #1...........

There doesn't seem like a way to lock TX 2 RX 2 PTT 2 to the second amplifier on 80 meters when switching back to SCU #1 A and using Slice A to operate 40,20,15, and 10 on the Alpha 9500.

The question is the following:

Is there still some work needed to have the Maestro be able to save individual profiles per SCU / Slice A or B, to be able to support separate amplifiers from a single Flex 6700, and retain tailored profiles for keying the different amplifiers on different bands, or is the clean way going to be the future single amplifier being produced to provide this Flex 6700 SO2R with Two amplifiers in a single amplifier enclosure?

Thanks for your suggestions or potential work arounds for this configuration.

Regards,

Is this a Maestro-specific question?  Does it work OK controlling 2 separate amplifiers when using PC-control?

Jim In a word - yes. In addition to the SO2R global profile you will need to establish two transmit profiles, one for Slice A and the other for Slice B. Set the Slice A profile to enable TX A key line and Slice B profile for TX B. You will need to run the key line cable to the appropriate amplifier. As you switch N1MM logger from Slice A to B and back the key line will switch accordingly as will the antenna Jacks assuming you set them in your new TX profile. 73 Bill K3WA
