Pretty sure its 10AWG1

I would have said 8 but, yeah, 10 maybe. I can say this. On the Astron PS I bought with the order I had to snip, tin, and file the contacts just to get them into the holes on the Astron. So my guess is it was better gauge than some minimal electrical gauge required to support 20A nominal at 13.8V. So, shout-out to Flex for not scrimping!!
I realize ultimately this likely requires a Tim answer but I wanted to do the shout-out to FRS for not scrimping on parts.2 -
It is #10 with 45A PowerPole connectors.2

If you want to install your own PowerPole connectors on the free end, you must get the 45 Amp ones, the regular 30 amp ones will not fit, unless you leave out a strand or two of the copper, which I do not recommend! (learned the hard way)

Hi Ken
Hmmm.. Pray tell how did leaving a couple strands out have a negative result?

Stray strands cause shorts.1

Thanks Howard... I thought it was something to do with the current carrying ability.
In the few times I've done this stunt, I did cut the strays off right at the insulation.
Take Care
Tim
