Maestro monitor function doesn't work with the Maestro mounted FHM-1
I want to set equalization for the FHM-1 using the monitor function, but it doesn't appear to work with the Maestro connected mic. I can hear myself clearly with the 6700 connected PR-781, but not with the FHM-1. My local net buddies give me terrible audio reports with the FHM-1. I have tried the stock FHM-1 profile, but apparently I still sounded cruddy to them.
Any thoughts?
Thanks -- Keith - AC9S

Using the Monitor function won't help you adjust your TX equalization. Per the manual:
"monitor audio bypasses the signal processing stages, the audio heard in the monitor is not the same as what is being transmitted and therefore is not suitable for determining the over the air quality of your transmitted signal".
If you want to hear what you sound like and adjust your equalization use Full Duplex (FDX) using two slices tuned to the same freq. Listen with headphones on the receive slice and adjust as you desire.

OK - but that doesn't explain why Monitor doesn't work with Maestro connected microphones.
