CW Sidetone skipping or bad connection?

I just started doing CW with my Flex 6300. This happened on both the Iambic paddle and the straight key.  I would be sending CW and the sidetone would drop out.  

I am not sure if there is a setting I am missing, if it'sthe speakers (polk hampden), I doub't both keys would be bad, causing this kind of problem.  

Any thoughts on what this could be? Right now I am mostly using the straight key while I brush up on my CW.  Both keys have worked on other radios just fine in the past.

I believe that this is a known problem and I have been posting about this for awhile now. Others are having the same problem with the 6300. If they don't fix it soon the rig is going to be sold.

The Problem is since the Version V1.6** and still activ. You can solve that temporairily by downgrade to V1.5. There the CW sidetone works fine, but you dont have the other features from the V1.6 Version. Hoping that Flex will fix that now, because many of my friends sold their Flex rigs now. Ist takes too long time Flex needs to fix the lot of software problems coming with the last Versions V1.6. The new Version was promised to middle of April - but now ist end of April :-(
