Maestro hardware configuration? Existing microphone and foot switch.

Can I use my existing microphone and foot switch connected to my 6300 with the Maestro?
Or will I need to connect them to my Maestro when it shows up?
I'm trying to figure out what options I'll need to order with the Maestro when my survey shows up.

Yes, you can leave your existing connections directly to the radio if you are operating at your radio.  You will need to select that option in the Maestro transmit menu.  Direct connection to the radio will usually be preferred when you are at the radio.

You can connect through Maestro when you take Maestro away from the shack.  Below was my operating position last Sunday evening.  Just "reading the mail" on the deck with the wife.

    Thanks Gerald.
I'm good to go with my current Flex 1500 microphone then.
I'll be happy to operate sans computer and portable around the house when it arrives.
The back deck will be a nice operating position.

Looking good.  See the latest Flex Insider that went out yesterday for the details.
