Function keys cause SDR crash in RTTY mode - why?

When the focus is on SDR, pressing the F4 or F5 keys WHILE NOT IN CW MODE produces a SmartSDR Cat: Fatal Error crash with a screen hogging 30 line explanation.  

While the F1 through F12 keys are for use with CW in SDR, there is no reason to crash the software if they are pressed in error while switching back and forth from SDR to WinWarbler while operating in RTTY mode.

Please fix.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
