DAX Audio TX has Changed to DAX Audio TX 1

Somehow after installing Version 1.6.17 on two different computers and then using them to Transmit and Receive QSO's on both the JT digital bands and MMTTY the DAX Audio TX channel has changed on my main computer to DAX Audio TX 1. While my backup computer remains DAX Audio TX. On the main computer the DAX Audio TX 1 is the only TX channel shown on the SOUND Playback window and on the backup it shows DAX Audio TX as the only choice. The main computer still works the digital modes while the backup will only receive the digital signals, NO Transmit audio at all. So I think that the 6700 internal software has been somehow changed to DAX Audio TX 1. My next step will be to uninstall 1.6.17 from the main computer and reinstall it after all it DID WORK. I will let the community know what I find as soon as posible. If anyone else has had this problem please let me know. 73 Al N4AB

I would uninstall the DAX RX and TX Drivers, and then reinstall them. Took care of the problem for me. THere are bat files in the driver directories to do just this.

DAX Audio TX 1 is the older, pre v1.6 version of the DAX driver.  If you are still having issues, please submit a support ticket via our HelpDesk (http://helpdesk.flexradio.com) so we can assist you in resolving your issue.  For details on how to submit a HelpDesk support ticket, please refer to the following URL: http://helpdesk.flexradio.com/hc/en-us/articles/202118688-How-to-Submit-a-Request-for-Technical-Supp...

Tim, a complete uninstall, then downgrade to 1.5 and then a re-install of 1.6 finally got DAX Audio TX back on my system. The attached PNG file shows what DAX Audio files were on my system after DAX Audio TX some how was changed to DAX Audio TX 1. So right now I'm good but I would like to know how it changed after first working OK. image

I have no idea how it changed.
