Audio distortion on TX to RX transition with NB

I am getting about 1 second of high Rx audio distortion when transitioning from Tx to Rx with the NB on. The NB is set at a modest level. It seems to do it mostly with the Rx station is S9+5 or above. This problem is only after unkeying. The extreme distortion last only about a second or two and then settles into very nice received audio. The distortion is so bad that the first couple of words are not readable. I need to confirm, but I think this is with NB only. WNB is not a problem.
Otherwise the NB works very well on my constant electric horse fence pulse noise. The WNB does not works as well and requires a much higher level.

Your threshold is too high for the noise / signal combination.  Reduce the NB threshold.
