I believe you want to connect the transverter IF to the Flex XVTR BNC and the antenna for the band of the XVTR to the ANT/RX of the transverter. That is the way I have used a transverter. You control the Flex output power to the transverter in the Radio Setup XVTR tab by setting the Max Power (dBm).

David, a bit vice-versa, i have 144 mHz DEMI amp for my F6700 and would llike connect 432mHz converter to the ANTx but as far i understood XVTR tab support connection via  XVTR only. You know since ver 1.6 and FDX capability (dedicated COM CAT for each slice) F6700 can be used easily for FDX crossband operations (ex  SAT operations with WISPdde or SATPC32 where you can choose different TRX for uplink and downlink freqs) however i see only cosmetic issues as a barrier here - proper Freq indication on the slice flag.
May be this is a small adjustement as a feature request for 2.0

It can, but I doubt we will change this behavior anytime soon.  The transverter feature was designed to be used with the transverter port and the RX only ports.

I am running into the same limitation.

I have a 6700 with a DEMI 2M-LPDA on the transverter port.  This works well.  I just received a DEMI L432-28 transverter currently set up for 10 Watts drive.  I can modify it to safely accept 100W drive and would like to attach it to ANT2.  (This should allow simultaneous reception of both 144 and 432 and selection of the proper transmit band just by selecting TX on the proper slice with no external switches or relays.)

Note that I will be transmitting in-band only (28-29.999), so this is not a power amp limitation.

Unfortunately, I will now have to use external switching to get the job done.

Please allow this in a future software version.

    Hi Sergey,

I haven't received my DEMI gear yet so I have not been able to test it in my 6700 but my idea is to use a DUPLEXER. The type of duplexer is the one that has HF-50MHz in one side and 100Mhz-up on the other.

When I TX in 144MHz the signal will go to Duplexer and out of the VHF port into the DEMI amp.

When I TX in 440 the 28Mhz signal will go from XVTR port into DUPLEXER and then out of the HF-50Mhz side of the duplexer and into the DEMI TRANSVERTER.

Separate TX and RX on the Transverter will allow me to send the RX into one of the RX ports of the Flex 6700.
This should allow me to have Full Duplex.... without switching.

Sounds interesting let us know how it works! I plan on using split IF xverters, DDUTL and a couple of coax relays to configure uplink and downlink to the Xverter and RX ports

Yes, very interesting idea! Please keep us up to date as it progresses.
