What is the fast ring update? I am not sure if I have it...how does one identify it and what does this update do? Is it an update or an upgrade?

By the way, Simon...I added a mod to my mini computer from Hystou. I added a relay across the on/off switch so that I can remotely turn the computer on and off. Using a WAN A/C remote which powers a 12 power supply connected to a SPST reed relay. The power switch is very easy to access by removing the mother board and soldering two leads across the switch pads.

"Fast ring" is a selection in Windows update instituted for those who always want to be on the "cutting edge" that downloads every single update, even those that may not be completely stable, so they can be tested. Kind of like a beta testing group. It was an option when I signed up as an "insider preview" user of Windows 10 a few months before it was released to the general public.

Thank you, Ken! Every day it's something new. I am not signed up for it so I'll just bide my time. Thanks for answering.
