Anyone else notice DSTR crashing daily?

I notice that almost every day when I take a look at my SSDR screen, my D-Star slice is gone and I can no longer select DSTR as a mode?
If I shut down my 6700 and reboot it, it all comes back, but I think our D-Star implementation can use a bit of "fine tuning"?
Another problem that I have noticed is that after a while I see activity on a D-Star Repeater, but no audio? I pull the ThumbDV out of its USB slot and re-insert it and the audio is back!
The text output in the D-Star waveform windows app is still full of random noise characters (perhaps they are using nonstandard characters????).
I also think I hear more distortion on my ThumbDV than I do with my Icom IC-7100, but my Flex's audio is so much better in general, that could be a factor too.
