Pan-adapter window arrangment

I know there has to be a simple answer to this but I can't seem to figure it out. On the main webpage for flex one of the pictures shows SmartSDR running 4 pan-adapters, 3 of which are stacked down the left side of the screen and a main taking the right half of the screen.... HOW?
I've tried opening 4, but I end up with 3 across the bottom side to side and one main across the top. I can not seem to get them arranged
What am I missing here?

Might be a 6700 that seems to have more control over Windows than the other 2 models. I have the 6500 and see what you describe. I would like to be able to put the 3 small Windows on top of the display instead of on the bottom. The configuration about 3 vertically on the side sounds interesting. Agree that more choices on the 6500 would be nice. A nice feature would be the ability to select the window configuration instead of playing with the sizing icons on each slice.0

It is a matter of experimenting with the SSDR main window size and then the panadapters min/max state. Not an intuitive process and unfortunately they didn't offer the ability to resize each pan independently and move them around. That would make is easier to create the layout that works best for your use.

I think the first trick is to get 2 slices side by side.. that seems to be a challenge as well, with twin monitors siting side by side I can stretch the entire SmartSDR window across them and have a VERY wide view, but can't really utilize it if I can't get slices side by side.0

David,
I can't tell you exaclty, but its a function of the ascpect ratio of the main SSDR window and having a PA maximized or not. With none of the PA's maximized, reduce the height of the main SSDR window. YMMV

Al,
Thank you.. that was it... interesting I have to shrink in down so much to get it to switch.. wonder if they will make the PA windows with more customization in future releases??

Funny you have twin Asus monitors, I have twin 22 inch HP monitors... look about the same0 -
Features to make the panadapter panels more customizable is a task that is in the to do database.2
