DAX Global Mode (Fully-On/Off/Minimal-On) Toggle?

Coming from reports that poorly written programs conflict with DAX in certain instances, mostly it appears due to these programs incorrectly putting a limit on the numbers of sound card devices.

IDEA - To accommodate poorly written cohabitating programs could DAX add a global DAX-down/DAX-full/DAX-minimum toggle that would temporarily cycle through a DAX totally disabled, DAX totally running and a DAX in a minimum usable configuration (for sleep/wakeup/monitoring features where a pipe needs to be maintained) series of modes?

Edited the post to clarify what I'm suggesting - basically a way to toggle DX between All-On/All-Off/Profile-Settings-Only-On

Goal is to reduce conflicts with other Windows programs.

    Target of each Toggle Mode:

Fully-On would turn on all of DAX, whether in use or not.

Fully-Off would turn off all of DAX, "                               ".

Minimal-On would turn on only DAX Channels actively in Use (within a time period or as selected)

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
