I set up FDX with ANT1 a yagi on 20m and ANT2 a 4-square on 40m. WIDE mode is off.
I would like to be able to increase my 20m power level on ANT1 gradually and see if the signal level on the 40m SCU2 on ANT2 is in the safe zone. Since the 40m SCU2 is not looking at my 20m signal, I have no easy way to tell if the level is safe or not.
It would be useful if there was a warning indicator on the ANT2 slice that signal levels at SCU2 are getting close to the upper safe limit. Similarly if I transmit on ANT2 and listen with SCU1.
In general, it would be useful to have an display indicator of the aggregate signal level observed at each SCU, since often the offending strong signal(s) is/are outside the range of frequencies displayed on the slice(s) for that SCU.
The warning could be done with e.g. a meter just above the RF power and SWR meters on the right side of SmartSDR that shows the aggregate signal level for each SCU.
