How to hold a comport

I'm running a Flex 6500 with SSDR 1.5  with HRD  and JT65-HF-HB9HQX.  I find that HRD will use the same comport each time and connects fine. But the JT65 program, I have to go in and add a new comport for PTT each time I start it.  How do I get a comport in CAT that will work each time with the JT65 program .

I have succesfully worked with HRD and WSJT-X for a long time.
I don't know about JT65-HF-HB9HQX, maybe the problem is
that program.
I like WSJT-X as I work both JT65 and JT9.

Now here is my setup:

1. Set up SmartSDR CAT with a PTT port, and, if you want,
    an extra dedicated CAT port (I need it to connect some extra programs)



2. Use MiniDeluxe, and from the HRD suite only DM780, Logbook, etc.pp.
    Notice that my main CAT port is 6, it can vary on your PC of course.



3. Set up WSJT-X



This should work. I hope you can find a JT65-HF-HB9HQX user here
who can help you there.

I am using HB9HQX and its working fb. I am using Omni rig" to control the port(#8).Opened it serval times and made a contact just to make sure it was seeing comport 8 ...

The version of Mini deluxe I have does not have the check box for SamrtSDR 

Where do you get it from?
