DAX and VOX work until Slice TX is switched

The short summary: with two Slices set for Transmitting DAX audio, switching which is the one with the TX indicator breaks the VOX function (that is, sound sent to their corresponding Windows Playback devices won't trip the radio into transmit mode.) The VOX can be restored by a click on SmartSDR's "MOX" button.
For a specific scenario:
v1.4.16 SmartSDR
Flex-6500 radio
Configure DAX Control Panel for both DAX channel 1 and 2, and for both RX and TX (i.e. both rows in DAX Control Panel have a blue digit and a red TX).
Configure SmartSDR with Slice A on DAX channel 1 and Slice B on DAX channel 2.
(radio should be on a dummy load here....)
Send audio on the PC to DAX Audio TX 1 playback device. If the VOX trips, you're temporarily in good shape.
Click the TX button on Slice B's Flag.
Send all the audio you want to its device, DAX Audio TX 2, and the VOX won't trip.
"Fix" it by briefly clicking the MOX button. Now VOX works.
Break it again by clicking the TX button in the other Slice...
Thanks,
Wayne

I just came across this thread. It seems old, but I have the same issue with my 6600M. My workaround is to toggle the VOX button off, then back on, and it appears to start working. Running SmartSDR 3.3.33.
