using a leobodnar gaming interface to control flex 6300image Hello all, my name is Francisco, LU7YWC, I'm currently using a Yaesu FTDX3000 with KAT500 and KPA500, do almost all CW and contesting also CW. Planning to buy a Flex 6300 and probably the Maestro when it comes out. Meanwhile, after reading a lot here, found some OMs are using a DJ console to control the SDR, others using Ipad/Android tablets, and so on... I'm far away from programming but I remembered about my -no longer in use- FSX 767 simulator once used to have, a full cockpit home made for wich I got from LeoBodnar a gamepad USB controlloer fully programmable. It accepts up to 64 buttons, 6 analogs sliders/pots and also you can re asign pairs of the 64 buttons to use with rotary encoders. So the question to all off you that have been playing around with SDR and interfaces, if you see it possible to use this gaming device to control a Flex 6000, here you go another picture of the autopilot I made for the 767, there you can see buttons and 4 rotary encoders. image Any thoughts about my idea and, if possible, how to implement it, are welcome.
