No more freezes for remote operation + DAX - thank you 1.4.16

After a week of using 1.4.16 remote with DAX + digital modes I have had zero freezes.  A significant improvement over the previous release in this respect.  I usually listen to a second slice on SSB while running WSJT or PSK.  For some reason, after booting up my laptop neither DAX or CAT work unless I stop and restart both then all is fine - was the same for previous release.

I have also had a problem with CAT not always running, and, more often than that, with the FlexControl not working.  I have to unplug/replug the USB cable to it.  Never had those issues on earlier releases.

Windows 10 Build 10240 installed, when I uninstalled SmartSDR and asked to also uninstall DAX, I noticed in my playback devices that DAX audio TX 1 was still there but instead of the controller saying "Flex Radio", it said Virtual Audio Cable EUMUS Design.  Install of SmartSDR completed successfully but DAX driver was still broken.  Had to uninstall SmartSDR and VAC 4.12, reboot, and then install SmartSDR and then VAC.  SmartSDR 1.4.16, DAX, and Smart CAT working now.
