fldigi com port whack a mole

When I use fldigi with SmartSDR Cat and SmartSDR,  it works FB, but with one quirk. Extra com ports have been created, and the only consistent thing is that I have to change the com port to connect fldigi to the radio - like if it was COM4 now, the next time it will be COM5 or COM6. Then the time after that, it will be COM4 again.

I'm not creating any new ports in SmartSDR CAT. They just show up.

Any thoughts?

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
