Persistence for digital modes could be fixed as an option

I am made of bits and bytes, almost all my QSO's are done by macros,
typing and a iambic squeezer.

Which means that I am always controlling SmartSDR from external programs
like HamRadio DeLuxe, WSJT-X, fldigi, CWSkimmer and so on.

Now SmartSDR has the wonderful ability to create profiles. Without them I
would be lost. I have created a profile for every band and mode and that works,
as I can select a profile when powering up my station.

Now and then I have to change my settings, of course, as HRD, for example,
cannot decode RTTY well if the bandwidth is greater than 600Hz.

Now when I change bands from HRD, these settings are persistant for eacgh band,
which means that I have to start a new profile or change the settings back manually
for my new mode.

What I would like is this: An option, whereby you can fix your first settings, so you can "drag them over" when changing bands.

Crazy or doable?

;-) Alex

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
