BUG Report -- Using PTT causes keyer problems

Turning off "BREAKIN" and using the PTT line to activate transmit mode will cause the internal keyer to send incorrectly.

This problem was originally reported as a cwx problem but we traced it down to a ham who uses PTT to trigger the tx rather than relying on Breakin. He was sending cwx macros then activating the PTT via a switch of some kind and that caused the keyer to act up. I have verified this but using cwx is not necessary to affect the keyer. Code elements begin to drop out and sometimes key down lockups happen.

This happened on a 6500. Version 1.4.11
