Problem Using MOX with FlexControl

With version 1.4.3, I am trying to engage MOX with the FlexControl. When I press the appropriate button on the FlexControl, the MOX button turns blue and the radio goes into transmit. However, when I speak into the microphone, I see no modulation on the panadapter. Clicking the FlexControl button again causes the radio to go out of transmit and the MOX button is again black and white. Anybody have an idea as to what I am doing wrong?

On a related FlexControl issue. I am using one button to engage RIT. When I hit the RIT button on the FlexControl, RIT turns blue and I can use the big round knob to change RIT as I wish. When I hit the big round knob again, RIT is disengaged but the RIT button stays blue. Seems to be a minor bug.

RIT stays blue because you still have an offset.  if you clear it with a double-click then the blue goes out.  Same with XIT.

The MOX doesn't send audio of you have the DAX button turned on.  It works the same way if you use the mouse on the MOX button.
MOX will allow you to go to TX with audio via the DAX if the DAX is turned on.
But using a footswitch or the hand mike PTT overrides the DAX input and gives you the main audio (Mic) source.

Thanks Ken. I was not aware of the double-click requirement. Works fine now.

Thanks Ken. I was hoping that it would work just like my footswitch. I am still a little confused. Where does DAX go to get the audio to be transmitted when the MOX button is activated?

Some people may have an outboard audio processing routine, like "Stereo Tool" or other broadcast processing software.  They take mike audio from the sound card or a USB mixer and process it and send it to a DAX channel in the same way that a DIGI program would do.  In this case, you would need to use MOX for PTT, because the Mike line PTT or footswitch PTT line will override the DAX input and connect you to your regular mike line - either the Mic, BAL or LINE input.

You define the DAX Channel in the Processing software, and select the same DAX channel in the pull down on your Slice Flag.

I think I finally understand. Thanks for explanation.
