FlexRadio Systems is pleased to announce the availability of SmartSDR v1.4.3.   SmartSDR v1.4.3 builds on the new capabilities introduced in SmartSDR v1.4 and adds a few more features and corrects issues found in v1.4 since release.  For reference, the key features of v1.4 can be found in the SmartSDR v1.4 Announcement.  New features in v1.4.3 include:

Binaural Reception: With binaural reception, The I and Q components of slice receivers can be sent to the L and R ears and the brain is able to use the relative phase of the signals separates the signals in the soundstage based on their position in the sidebands.  This feature, when enabled, works for all slice receivers.

1750Hz Tone Burst: A 1750Hz tone burst button has been added to open repeaters needing a tone burst.  This feature is enabled for radios in regions that use tone burst.

DAX Monitor: Using MON in DAX will now allow monitoring your transmit signal during DAX operation.

Post-processing record: In USB, LSB, DIGU and DIGL when transmit audio is recorded it is now recorded post-processing so that a playback will contain processing changes made in the radio before transmit.  This eliminates the need for a second receiver to optimize transmit audio charactersitics.

The SmartSDR v1.4.3 Installer can be found in two places -- if you have an issue with one link, try the other.
