How do I interface HDR with my new Flex 6300

I now have my new Flex 6300 installed and working well with V1.4.0.53 - awesome!   I tried to set up and use HRD as my logger but I'm stuck!  I checked the HRD page but nothing I could use.  Can someone help?   I will also need to use N1MM+ in the future.  Thanks in advance.   John AD6NR

I am glad you asked that question. I contacted HRD tech support asking the same questions and their answers wanted to make rush to my nearest toilet.

Follow that setup, but just skip the DM780 part and open HRD Logger after you have done up to step 4

The simplest way is to use DDUTIL to fun HRD... I use HRD for my logging and don't have any issues... a couple mouse clicks and its setup... easy as pie with DDUTIL

I agree that DDUtil is the better way to do this now too.   Make sure to set the HRD Server to "v6.2".   I do this instead of using the main HRD app.

Agreed.  Simply install DDUtil, enable HRD Apps, check v6.2 and then open HRD-Log.  Simple as pie. If you decide to use DM780 you will just need to add a PTT port in SDR-CAT.  I'm also using HRD Rotor control with the ERC board connected to my Yaesu G-800DXA.  You can click on a spot out of HRD Log;s DX Cluster and get hands-free antenna pointing too.

I am not clear on the technique. Is all of this accomplished on a REMOTE computer or is it done with a host computer therefore, perhaps, needing two computers. One by the radio and another as a client from which to operate remotely.
