Why does CWU always revert back to CWL upon changing bands?

When I select CWU under settings, it reverts back to CWL whenever I change bands.  Is here a way to globally make CWU the default setting?  This worked just fine in V1.3.8.

    How are you changing bands?

Good question....I'm using the K9DUR 6000 Memory program to change bands using buttons I created under v1.3.8.  Also, it just dawned on me that I did not do a cold reboot after installing v1.4.  Since I turn off all power every time I leave the shack, it will be a cold reboot when I get back out to the rig and I'll try again.  Otherwise, I'll change bands the conventional way from the Flex panel and see if that retains the CWU selection across band changes.

    Thanks Tim.

So here is what could be happening.

With SmartSDR v1.4, there was a change to support both the CWU (ZZMD04;) and CWL (ZZMD03;) CAT commands properly.  Previously, entering either of the two aforementioned CAT commands to change the slice mode to CW would change the demodulation mode but it would not change the CW tuning mode.  This resulted in CAT enabled programs that had CWU and CWL modes defined were not properly setting the state of the radio.

Now the appropriate ZZMD command will change the demod mode to CW and set the CW tuning mode (upper or lower) as well.

If the CAT enabled program is responsible for the change in the tuning mode, you need to contact the developer and let them know of this change so they can modify their programs.
