cw qsk pops in audio

I'm using a USB WinKeyer and keying my Flex 6300 via the aux input. I have Break-In and MOX turned off and am letting the WinKeyer enable TX and key full QSK. Using headphones, I notice a fair amount of low level audio pops in the side tone audio when transmitting. It may only be perception, but it seems like it is worse with 1.4 than it was with 1.3.8.

Try reducing the master headphone volume control and increasing the slice volume and sidetone. That seems to help reduce the random pops and cracks. I was told that Flex was going to fix that in 1.4 but I guess it didn't happen although it does seem a bit better.
I use a passive audio filter on the headphones and that totally removes the popping.
I do the same thing for the speakers by reducing the master gain and increasing slice gain. That eliminates it from the speakers.
