Can some body test of the result with CAT command sequence:
KS030;KY R5AU;KS050; KY R5AU;
at first view should be the first call sign sent with speed 30wpm and after second one with 50wpm, on reality callsign sending once with speed 50wpm
i have tested it with N1MM and MIXW
may be i am wrong with expectations ?

Hi Sergey,
Here is what I think is happening. I tried setting up the command in DDUtil and triggering it from the a FlexControl button.
If you DONT have the CWX and internal speed SYNCHED (new feature of V1.4) here is what happens
The KS030; is setting the speed for the internal keyer and only affects the paddles plugged into the radio
The KY R5AU; command is being used by CWX and sends at whatever speed you have set for CWX.
The KS050; command then changes the internal keyer speed
The KY R5AU; again uses the CWX speed.
If you DO have the CWX and internal speed SYNCHED here is what happens
It almost works like you would expect. The speed command affects both the internal keyer speed and the CWX speed. However there is some lag in the command processing. The first transmission of R5AU starts at 30 WPM but before it can finish the speed is bumped up to 50 WPM. The second transmission is at 50 WPM.
I'm guessing that the timing and results can vary depending on how you are communicating to the radio. My test was with DDUtil. Hope this helps.

Hi Al,well sure i am using SYNC functionality, however, the result of the sequence:
{CATA1ASC KS050;KY0{MYCALL};KS030;KY0{MYCALL};} this is macro of the N1MM
http://n1mm.hamdocs.com/tiki-index.php?page=Macros&structure=N1MM+Logger+Documentation#CW_Macros...
is very strange,
example for callsign RA3AJK(my previous callsign) is:
callsign sending just once like RA with 50wpm and 3AJK with 30wpm
looks like buffer overflows ? SYNC is ON
need help
results with MIXW32 are equal0 -
It looks like the radio processes the commands asynchronously. After setting the speed to 50 WPM, it starts processing the first KY command but before it can finish, it gets and processes the 30 WPM command. That would explain the speed changing in the middle.
Also I noticed in the original sequence you posted there was an extra space before the second KY. I had to remove it for my test as it ignored the command.
KS030;KY R5AU;KS050; KY R5AU;

Right, in the first post i simplified the sequence , but the last one is in line with N1MM manual0

Have tried different methods with different loggers with sending ASCII via CAT , but no success with speed change between parts of the ASCII sequence
