Flex 6700: Cost to Replace Damaged FPGA

Mark - AD4MA

I currently own a Flex 5000 Transceiver, and I am considering the purchase of a Flex 6700.  If the FPGA in the 6700 were to fail, and the radio was no longer under warranty, assuming current parts and labor costs, could someone give me an idea of what the repair cost would be to replace the FPGA?

Thanks

First off, we have never had an FPGA fail with all of the FLEX-6000s sold; it is a very solid processor.  FPGA failure is a low probability event.  And since all FLEX-6000s sold to date are still under warranty and the cost of components vary with time (usually getting cheaper, we do not have a fixed prices for component replacement at this time.
