Is the panadapter on a 6700 supposed to display the 2 meter TX spectrum like it does when transmitting on HF?  Mine just freezes until the TX is unkeyed,

The panadaptor does not display the XVTR output.  That is the normal situation.

Is this a permanent design? Or is it one of those "used to work" features in PSDR that will be put into SSDR when it catches up!

    Since when do I give a " OFFICIAL RESPONE "  ?

During transmit the panadator displays a signal what is taken off throug an attenuator from the FLEX-PA. That is internal hardware.  The intension was ( is ) to use this signal for pre distorsion the input signal to the PA to improve the IMD. Of course that would not work as soon as You place another PA behind Your Flex.

Would there be no value or possibility to pick up a signal from the transverter port in transmit mode? Thanks for the Official response LOL,

As I said , that needs a hardware modification.  I do not expect that it would be easy or possible. Perhaps in the 7000 serie !
