Wow really liking my 6500, and still crazy about my 5000. But even better at the moment, My SDR-1000 just thrilled me all over again. All three now run from the new PC that I built for the 6500. It dual boots Win7-32 and Win8.1-64. The Gigabyte Z97X-SLI-CF motherboard includes a built-in parallel port. And suprise, it works with the SDR-1000 on win7-32 with PowerSDR 2.5.3. No signs of DPC's or stutters and CPU usage is below 3%. Next thing I have to find is a bigger desk so I can add a Flex-7XXX, although with 1 less PC required on the desktop there might be room yet. And no I haven't tried running all 3 at the same time yet, but I can run either the 1000 and the 6500, or the 5000 and the 6500. when I get bored I'll try all 3 on 32 bit windows 7. I just wish it was possible to easily swap out the firewire driver and firmware for the 5000 so I wouldn't have to avoid breaking things with PowerSDR 2.7.2. I wish it was possible to use 2.6.4 or 2.7.2 with a parallel port.  But I dont want that bad enough to risk delays on SmartSDR.
