Two instances of SmartSDR on one computer?

Any update on this? I am considering buying a 6300 to dedicate to some 24 hour digital mode monitoring while using my existing 6700 for other things. I only have one computer in the shack.
Specifically, each instance of SmartSDR would be attached to its own radio.

Bob,
An alternative would be to use VirtualBox and run a Windows VM on your Windows machine. VirtualBox is free but you will be stuck with needed a second licensed copy of Windows.
Understand this is a pain but its workable solution until multiple copies of SSDR can run on a single machine,

Bob - I am afraid that this feature isn't currently supported nor will it be included in the upcoming SmartSDR v1.4.

Virtualbox is the answer...
One thing that is very cool about running a licensed copy of Windows in a virtual machine is that when you upgrade the computer, you can simply copy the VM image to the new computer and everything works without any change.
No reactivation required, no software to reinstall... just simply works.
I have one computer left in the house that is native windows - everything else is MAC OS X or Linux and all runs virtual machines.
At some point, the last machine running Windows is going to get pensioned off and replaced - likely with my older MacBook... it will still run Windows but only in a VM.
I resisted Virtual Machines for a long time until I got my MacBook back in 2009 - haven't looked back even once.
I've even got to the point of running light weight VM's as appliances (I"m slow on this move too - I know!) - so if the appliance gets hacked - a quick delete and copy the backup and I'm good to go.
Thank you Diane Green and Mendel Rosenblum for making VM's mainstream... and to think IBM had this back in the 60's with the original VM.
One of my favorite quotes is from Adm Grace Hopper of Cobol fame - who in 1958 (yes, 19 friggin' 58) said...
"There is nothing new in computing, only new ways of doing old things".
Just like the 5th Element - "Simply perfect"

Tim, thank you for the update.
Stu, it looks like I will need the VM approach. Thank you for the information on VirtualBox. I will do some reading on it.
