Display Settings For Smart SDR

I decided to run an extra flat screen display I had after canceling cable TV. It is a 31 inch (diagonal) TV, which I run in the PC mode. I get a beautiful Smart SDR screen but I am not able to resize things to get all the control panels to display at one time. Any hints??

What screen resolution are you using?0

Been there done that, I had my resolution at 125%'. Check it.0

I have the display settings at 1360 x 768. Running Windows 7 with the text size at small (100%). This seems to be the best setting but I can only get 3 of the five control panels to display at one time.

You need more vertical pixels At least 1080. Like in a 1920 x1080 display. Or better yet 1920x1200 if u can find one0

This is the problem. SmartSDR needs 1080 pixels @ a DPI setting of 96 in height to display the entire right hand sidebar of console.0

Agreed I run 1920x1200 and it has a little head room for SSDR - I think 1080 is a little short - I think you need nearer 1100 to get them all in fully.
I might be wrong but the last 1080 I tired came up short. Win 8 defaults which should be 96dpi...

On my monitor under Windows 8.1 I need 1120px to show the complete sidebar. Which is the reason why I sold my 1080P screens ...

You also have to check the DPI setting. It interacts with screen resolution. Win8 does automatic DPI scaling that can make a difference in how programs are displayed. As I stated, a screen height of 1080 pixels @ a DPI setting of 96 will display the entire sidebar when the app is maximized.0

That is strange Tim in my own Windows 8.1 a setting of "Smaller 100%" = 96dpi - however at 1080P I cannot see all of the bar on my Dell with a DGiM screen.
Going off to work to get another screen and have a go - it was the reason I changed screen was to see all of the bar in SSDR - the Win 7 and Win 8 machines I have both would not show it all until I crept the resolution up above 1100.
