TX Relay Output asserted until SmartSDR started

Until the 6300 is powered on and SmartSDR is started, the TX output is asserted, that is if a device connected to TX is powered on, its PTT will be activated.
There was a similar thread "TX asserted with no active TX slice" but it is no longer active.
This has the potential to cause a problem if an external device is activated (PTT) with no drive.
This seems to be a hardware problem as it happens before the 6300 is powered on and SmartSDR started.
Is there a solution to this besides remembering not to turn on the external device before SmartSDR is up and running. My memory ain't what it used to be.

I reported this as well some time back. It's still an issue in newest SmartSDR.

As Burch noted, this is a defect that has been previously reported and is in our bug tracker slated for resolution.0
