I wish to thank all the people who offered suggestions on how to fix DAX

So many people took time to offer suggestions on how to get DAX transmit working again.
I lost it twice, once shortly after the new 1.3 version came out and again a few days ago.
The first time, it came back on it's own, But this time it was stubborn and refused to accept all the techniques so many Flexonians offered as a cure.
Bob Thorton suggested reverting to a known good version. That did it DAX was back.
Your success may vary. As I have no idea why some of us loose transmit, receive or both.
But I'm going to make sure I keep that older version in the HD just in case.

I also have 1.2.17 here on standby. If my rig had not been supplied with 1.3.0, I would have used that version. I did not want to complicate matters by (possibly) downgrading the rig's firmware. From what I have heard, there will be a maintenance release of the 1.3 branch before 1.4 sees the light of day. I understand that some DAX/CAT disconnect issues have been fixed IIRC from an FRS posting.

Once I was sure the corruption was in the radio and not in the PC a downgrade and upgrade seemed to be the only way to flush all the bits out. There has to be a better way but nothing else seemed to work for Bill. My own was fixed by a 5 second press of the power switch.
