Page 37 of the User's Guide shows how to record and playback.  Is there anyway to clear out what you have recorded so that you can record something new without rebooting the radio?  There is nothing mentioned in the User's Guide on this page on how to do this.

There is also a request ( idea) to have the recorder work like an airplane black box.  It would give you the last few minutes without having to stop and restart or know exactly when you want to record.  More details here.
