After being on wsjtx for an hour or so dax lost its ability to hear such that sigs could be decoded.
I'll attach a pict. You'll notice it stopped hearing about an hour ago; doesnt matter the band they all have the same distorted jt9 and jt65 signals; restarting wsjt didnt fix it;

I had it happen this am and rebooted the 6700 and the computer to get things back. Then it happened again. This time I went and restarted smartsdr, dax and wsjtx/jtalert; now its back to hearing.. I've not seen this before and am doing nothing different than other days when I operate.

env: win7x64, wsjtx 1.3 3673, jt alert 2.4, dax 1.05, smart sdr 1.2.17, flex 6700.

Has anyone else seen this? I havent seen any comments about it..
tks

    I have the same thing happening with my 6500 and my Yaesu FT 950. Starting the radios both of them does return the programs to normal.

    Because it's happening on two platforms I really don't think it is a radio issue it's a software issue with a windows update or JT65

    Just my opinion

    Tks Mike - thats good to know especially since its on the 950 too. I am running all the lastest windows patches.. I see nothing obvious in the windows update history (but there arent a lot of details in there anyway).

    Funny you posted this issue when you did -- I had exactly the same thing happen this morning. Reboot of the radio cleared it right up. Odd.

    Tks George; Did yours stay cleared up? The issue came back after an hour..  very odd..

    This sounds similar to issues I had with VAC and digital modes with legacy Flex radios.  Essentially, I seemed to have audio paths go to sleep.  After weeks of head scratching, I turned off all Windows power saving options and the problem went a way.  It might be worth a try with DAX and SmartSDR.

    We are aware of this issue and plan to make some changes to DAX in an upcoming release of SmartSDR that should resolve the reported issue.

    All good here, at least right now. We'll see how it goes, especially with a new release next week,
