Unwanted DAX Channels?

I read an old post reporting that one cannot remove unneeded DAX channels.  I am interested in this because some 3rd part programs I use do NOT list all the DAX options, seems the applications are only able to list a certain amount of "sound cards".  Thus for a couple of 3rd party applications, the listed DAX RX and RX channels are not available to me (slice 5 and beyond ) and I can't see the needed DAX channels (slice 1-4).  Anyone find a way around this yet ?

I run MMTTY which only shows 16 audio devices.  I disabled (right click on the device and select disable) DAX channels 5-8, both RX and TX, including the reserved channels.  Now I can see DAX channels 1-4 in MMTTY and all seems to be working well for those channels.

If you disable the unwanted DAX channels in the OS, they will not show up in the application's list of sound cards.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
