Control Surfaces

While we have mousing in SSDR, FlexControl and K6TU iPad (thanks Stu!) available as control surfaces, there's a whole ecosystem of gaming and pro audio controllers we could experiment with. http://zakmoonbeam.hubpages.com/hub/Flight-Simulation-Joysticks-and-Hotas-Reviews# and http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/nov12/articles/spotlight-1112.htm for examples at various price points.
Related question is if there's any way to add a secondary mouse pointer to SSDR so we can random access tune without losing keyboard focus on the logger. I suppose I could run the logger on a separate CPU with its own SmartCAT connection to the radio, but haven't tried that yet.
Curious if anyone's seen or tried software to link other control surfaces to SSDR?
