After a lot of help from Steve Nance and Bob Tracy, and others I've finally able to use DDuT to switch between Legacy (Flex5K) and Signature (Flex6K) radios and have bi-directional rig control between DXlabs Commander and either PowerSDR or SmartSDR.
I do have to manually select the Signature or Legacy buttons but I can now have both PSDR & SSDR running (at the same time) with DXlabs Commander doing the heavy lifting of connecting/controlling/logging between to the two radios.
I tried first with SmartCat pairs, but ran out of low numbers as many of my legacy programs still only allow com port numbers up to 8.
Many thank to SteveN and BobT-(Igor) for their handholding and suggestions.
Anybody want a more detailed explanation can contact me Bill@w9ol.com and I'll reply with the LOOOONG version
