Heil PR781 microphone cable for 6300

My 6300 will be arriving in a few days and I have a questions about a Heil microphone cable.  I own an Icom 7600 and a Heil 781 microphone.  I am using the CC-1XLR-I cable with the 7600.  Can this cable be used with the Flex 6300 or would I need to purchase a new cable?  If I need a new cable is there an adapter for the Icom cable?

Thanks

Hi Charlie,   Since the Flex 6300 is compatible with a Yaesu pinout on the 8 pin foster plug I believe you will need a new cable that adapts the Heil 781 mic to the 8 pin Yaesu type connector.

Cable # CC-1-XLR-Y (for Yaesu 8 pin compatible mic conns)

Larry:  Thanks for the reply.  I see that there are two CC-1-XLR-Y cables.  One is balanced and the other does not have BAL in the part number. Which cable would I need for my 6300?

Yes, that is the cable you need.  And you can get it from FlexRadio using this URL:
