Some ideas to increase ease of use...

After using my 6500 for about a year now I have identified a couple of changes that would enhance usability.  Less mouse clicking and more efficient operation when chasing DX:

• Add way to identify what the RF Gain slider is at without having to click into the ANT panel all the time.  Its important to know what the RF Gain settings is at for each band to make sure its optimized for dynamic range  Maybe a color dot next to the red record dot that changes color depending on the RF gain setting, like, white=-10, green=0, yellow=+10, red=+20 and so on....
• Add the S-Meter indication for the slice selected to the RX window.  I would love to minimize the slice panel but can't because the RX panel indicates everything but the S-Meter indication...

These are just some efficiency ideas the Flex 6000 users might find useful....  Dennis, k0eoo
