Unhandled error when closing waterfall in Windows 8

I'm running v1.2.1 on both a bootcamped Mac and a Surface 2 Pro. The Mac runs fine, but I've got a problem with the Surface (running 8.1 Pro) that's only shown up with the introduction of waterfall in the latest software release. When I collapse the waterfall to hide it, I get an "Unhandled Error" (screenshot included). It doesn't do it if I simply resize the waterfall, only when I get to the point where it's gone completely. The radio is a 6500. Is there a solution to this? Apologies if it's been posted before, if it has, I couldn't find it!

    Keith,
I have not seen that problem on my Win 8.1 64 bit desktop machine with SSDR 1.2.1... It could be unique to Surface/graphics system.  Do you have latest graphics driver?

    Al & Keith,
I have had it happen twice on my Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit Dell using SSDR 1.2.1.  I could not catch what was causing it.

Keith - we found the defect in some bounds checking code.  This issue will be fixed in the next release of SmartSDR for Windows.

That's great Tim, much appreciated, thanks.

I moved from a 5000 to the 6500 about four weeks ago. The 5000 was great, but this one is an order of magnitude better!

I found an issue in the code that is likely the culprit for this issue.  Please test upon receiving the next release and let us know (no ETA on this just yet).

    Thanks, Eric, will do.

Tim - I've just seen your question about drivers and screens. The driver is dated 20/2/14 and is version 10.18.10.3431 - I kicked off an update check and it didn't find anything. I only use the Surface as a portable device, hence no extra screens.

On the bootcamped Mac I use two screens, and it works fine on either screen or spread across both. That's with Bootcamp 5.1 and Windows 7. I'm holding off on the Windows 8 upgrade on the Mac until the waterfall issue is resolved in case it crops up there as well.

I only changed to Bootcamp 5.1 on that Mac a few days ago as a precursor to taking it to Win 8, and seem to've picked up an issue with DAX - but I need to spend some time on it, it's possible I need to do some cleaning up following the upgrade. If it persists I may be creating another post!
