Make sure the TNF filter is not too wide or it will notch out audio in the RX passband.0

Apparently I am applying the TNF incorrectly or it is not working on my 6700.
When I use it, I move it to the annoying signal and stretch the TNF filter width to cover the interfering signal.
Then depending of the signal, I widen the BW . However, I am not able to notch it out; by applying the "DEEP" or the "VERY DEEP"
In other words, it does not work at all as it was in the PDSR radios.
Is this a me problem or the 6700?

Did it turn yellow.... if not click on TNF bottom of screen left side as I made that mistake :-)

Steve,
I click on the left side +TNF to create the slice.
Then I expand the slice to create width to mask the QRM (still gray)
If I follow what you are saying ... I clicked the +TNF and it does not change color (still gray) but it creates another slice instead.
Am I follow your instruction correct?
BTW, no matter where I click, no change no matter where I click. I have looked for information on the new manual and checked the forum and the Home Q and A in the Flex website.

Hi Earnest, yes sounds like you are doing it correct, but to make the TNF's active you have to click the TNF button at the bottom left corner see image.... hope that helps. (see page 45 (8.3) of pdf manual)

If it had been more obvious, I would properly be dead by now!
Thanks for pointing it out. It took a while to find where the TNF was located; until I was preparing to ask if you could place an arrow or circle to find it.
I am suggesting that FRS have the TNF change color when it is activated just like the TX bottom goes RED when transmitting. Of course not in red, but some other soft color other than WHITE.
Thanks and I gave you s star for the quick answer and solution!
