heil Proset ic + AD-1-Y

Got the above 2 items the headset was used with my old Icom 7600 and I just bought the AD-1-Y adapter for the flex 6500 but cannot get audio out of it, do I need to change the microphone insert for a non icom one or do I need a complete new headset? or is there a setting I have missed somewhere?
BIAS is off
+20db is on
Mic Gain up at 100
Getting the TX light ok....

    Hi Steve,


    If memory serves me correctly the Heil Ic was intended for use normally with Icom Radios and does require Bias to be on for the condenser element.  You should be ok after turning BIAS on for it....  I know I have seen others using that combo.

    Hi Larry, sure it tried it with bias off and on and zilch.... just fired it all up again and with bias on it's working.... thanks for the advice...

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
