Big signal slope - normal?

This isn't a problem, just a question.  Turned on the 6700 just now, and this signal immediately caught my attention.  It's just when this one guy transmits that I see a huge slope off of his signal.  Is this normal?  He sounds fine.

I listen around that frequency every night, and the same guy always has that slope.

Not normal. That looks like they are running a really poorly performing amp (splatter).  Opposite sideband suppression is HORRIBLE!  Where is an OO with a panadapter when you need one.

lol, yeah I sorta figured it was very bad splatter, but I didn't think splatter could be *that* bad. ;-)  I need to make that my new profile pic.
