SmartSDR v1.1 jumpy mouse and freezing

Hi, sometimes SmartSDR will start doing this thing where it freezes every 1 second.  The panadapters will freeze for a second, then update, then freeze for a second, etc.  This also affects the audio (through dax) and even my mouse pointer freezes during that second.

I can manage to get my mouse to the "x" to close the app, and then my mouse starts behaving normally again, but if I load SmartSDR again, the mouse freezing immediately comes back as soon as the "Radio Setup" window shows up. Only way I can resolve it is to reboot my laptop.

I'm using Windows 8.1.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
